Dermal Fillers at Celestial Cosmetic Clinic

At Celestial Cosmetic Clinic, dermal fillers are designed to restore lost volume, improve facial proportions and enhance natural facial contours – with a focus on subtle, natural-looking results that complement your features rather than dramatically changing them. Every face ages differently, so every treatment begins with a thorough consultation to assess your facial anatomy, discuss your goals and create a personalised plan. It’s a good option if you’ve experienced age-related volume loss, feel your face looks tired or less defined, or want to enhance specific facial features.

Our aim is always to help you look fresher, more rested and more confident whilst maintaining a natural appearance. Benefits include restored facial volume, improved contours and enhanced facial balance – all through a personalised treatment plan built around you.

I offer a carefully curated range of dermal filler treatments, including:

  • Nasolabial Folds – Softens the lines running from the nose to the corners of the mouth.
  • Marionette Lines – Improves the appearance of lines extending from the mouth towards the chin.
  • Chin Enhancement – Improves projection, balances profile proportions and creates facial harmony.
  • Jawline Enhancement – Enhances definition and creates a more structured, sculpted lower face.
  • Cheek Enhancement – Restores volume, improves facial contours and provides subtle lift and support.

Dermal Fillers FAQs

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are injections made using hyaluronic acid – a substance your skin already produces naturally to help keep it hydrated, plump and structured. As we age, natural hyaluronic acid levels decline, which is part of why the face can start to look tired or lose its shape over time. Filler works by replacing some of that lost volume, bringing back a fuller, more supported look. It’s used to restore volume you’ve lost, refine your facial contours, and enhance the features you already have – all while keeping things looking like you, just refreshed.

Absolutely. My focus is always on subtle, natural-looking results that complement your features rather than dramatically changing them. My aim is to help you look fresher, more rested and more confident – while still looking completely like yourself.

Most dermal filler treatments take around 30 – 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated and how much filler is needed. Your consultation will give you a clearer idea of timing for your specific treatment plan.

This varies quite a bit from person to person, depending on the area treated, the specific product used, and how quickly your body naturally breaks it down. On average, most clients see results lasting anywhere from 6 to 18 months.

Most clients find treatment pretty manageable overall. Many filler products contain a local anaesthetic to help with comfort, and I always do everything I can to make sure your treatment experience is as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Most clients can get straight back to their normal activities. That said, some redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising are common after treatment and are considered a normal part of the process.

Following treatment, you will be provided with full aftercare advice. Generally, you should avoid touching or rubbing the treated area, strenuous exercise, excessive heat, saunas and alcohol for the recommended period following your appointment.

No. Dermal filler treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

If you’re not sure, a consultation is always the best first step. We’ll talk through your concerns properly, take a proper look at your facial anatomy, and build a treatment plan together that actually fits what you’re after.

Yes. As a Registered Nurse, patient safety is at the heart of everything I do — every treatment follows a thorough consultation and honest assessment of what’s right for you. This nurse-led approach means dermal fillers carry a well-established safety profile, and treatment only ever goes ahead when it’s genuinely suitable for your individual needs.

Yes – all new clients need a consultation and medical assessment before any treatment goes ahead. It’s also genuinely worth booking one if you’re new to aesthetics or just want honest, professional guidance on what would actually suit you best.

Before Your Appointment

Please take a few minutes to read through the following before your appointment, so everything runs smoothly and you get the best possible results.

  • No need to arrive without makeup. Your appointment starts with a thorough cleanse of the area we’re treating, so turning up with makeup on is completely fine — you can relax and let me take care of the rest from the moment you arrive.
  • Let me know before your appointment if anything’s changed with your health, medications or medical history since you booked.
  • Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment. Staying well hydrated supports your skin and can help your body recover more easily afterwards.
  • Where possible, steer clear of alcohol for 24 hours beforehand — it can make you more prone to bruising.
  • If you take blood-thinning medication or supplements — aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, certain herbal supplements — try to avoid these beforehand unless they’ve been prescribed, in which case keep taking them as your doctor’s advised.
  • If you’ve got something important coming up, it’s worth booking treatment well ahead of it, as some swelling, tenderness or bruising can happen afterwards and is a normal part of healing.
  • Got an active cold sore, a skin infection, aren’t feeling well, or have had another aesthetic treatment recently? Message me before your appointment so I can talk you through the best next step.
  • Dermal fillers aren’t suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
  • Not sure which treatment is right for you? Book a consultation first — we’ll talk it through properly and build a plan together.

My aim, above all, is that you leave feeling informed, at ease and genuinely confident in the treatment you’ve had.

Aftercare Advice

Your aftercare matters just as much as the treatment itself, so please take a moment to go through this before your appointment ends.

  • Try not to touch, rub or press on the treated area for the first 24 hours.
  • Hold off on strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and excessive heat for 24–48 hours.
  • Skip alcohol for 24 hours — it raises your chances of bruising and swelling.
  • Leave makeup off the treated area for at least 12 hours, unless I’ve said otherwise.
  • Keep drinking plenty of water and staying well hydrated afterwards — it supports your skin’s overall health and helps things heal and settle nicely.
  • Mild redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising is common after dermal filler and usually settles naturally within a few days.
  • Sleeping slightly propped up on your back for the first night can help keep swelling down.
  • Leave at least two weeks before booking further facial treatments, massage, or applying pressure to the area, unless I’ve told you otherwise.
  • Keep the area clean and follow whatever specific aftercare guidance I give you at your appointment.
  • You’ll see your results straightaway, but the true final look is best judged once any swelling has fully settled, usually around two weeks later.
  • Anything worrying you after treatment? Get in touch straightaway — your safety and comfort matter to me throughout.

More than anything, I want you to leave feeling supported, informed and cared for at every stage of your treatment.
