Lip Enhancement Treatment at Celestial Cosmetic Clinic

At Celestial Cosmetic Clinic, lip enhancement is designed to improve the shape, definition and volume of the lips – whether you’re looking for subtle hydration, improved symmetry or fuller lips. Every treatment is tailored to your individual facial features and desired outcome, with the aim of natural-looking results that complement your face rather than overpower it. It’s a good option if you feel your lips lack volume, have lost volume through ageing, or want more definition around the lip border.

Your appointment begins with a detailed consultation, discussing your concerns, goals and medical history before a personalised treatment plan is created based on your facial anatomy. Treatment itself typically takes 30–45 minutes. Some swelling and bruising can occur afterwards and is completely normal – full aftercare advice will be provided at your appointment.

Lip Enhancement FAQs

What are Lip Enhancement treatments?

Lip enhancement is a non-surgical treatment using dermal filler to improve the shape, definition and volume of the lips. It’s tailored to your individual features, whether you’re looking for subtle hydration, better symmetry or fuller lips.

Every lip treatment at Celestial Cosmetic Clinic starts with a consultation. Together we’ll talk through your concerns, the look you’d like and your medical history, so your plan is tailored to you, whether that’s subtle hydration, added volume or more definition.

This is exactly what your consultation is for. We’ll talk through your goals and I’ll assess your lips, facial proportions and what’s realistic, so we agree on the right amount and approach together – never a one-size-fits-all plan.

Natural-looking results are our speciality. Treatment plans are tailored to your features and desired outcome, so you leave looking like a refreshed version of yourself – never overdone.

Results are not immediate. You may begin to notice changes within a few days, with full results typically developing over up to two weeks following treatment.

Most swelling settles within a few days, although individual experience varies.

Lip filler treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If this applies to you, we can discuss suitable timing at your consultation.

Your consultation is carried out by Courteney personally, a Registered Nurse who will talk through your medical history, concerns and goals, and assess your suitability for treatment. From there, a personalised plan will be created based on your individual features and what you’re hoping to achieve.

Your consultation includes a discussion about your medical history, treatment concerns and desired outcomes. I will assess your suitability for treatment, answer any questions you may have and provide honest recommendations based on what is most appropriatefor you.

Before Your Appointment

Please take a few minutes to read through the following before your appointment, so everything runs smoothly and you get the best possible results.

  • No need to arrive without makeup. Your appointment starts with a thorough cleanse of the area we’re treating, so turning up with makeup on is completely fine — you can relax and let me take care of the rest from the moment you arrive.
  • Let me know before your appointment if anything’s changed with your health, medications or medical history since you booked.
  • Where possible, steer clear of alcohol for 24 hours beforehand — it can make you more prone to bruising.
  • If you take blood-thinning medication or supplements — aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, certain herbal supplements — try to avoid these beforehand unless they’ve been prescribed, in which case keep taking them as your doctor’s advised.
  • If you’ve got something important coming up, it’s worth booking treatment well ahead of it, as some swelling, tenderness or bruising can happen afterwards, especially with lip filler.
  • Got an active skin infection, aren’t feeling well, or have had another facial treatment recently? Message me before your appointment so I can talk you through the best next step.
  • Lip filler isn’t suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, so treatment won’t go ahead if either applies to you.
  • Not sure if treatment’s right for you? Book a consultation first — we’ll talk it through properly and build a plan together.

Above all, my aim is that you leave feeling informed, at ease and genuinely confident in the treatment you’ve had.

Aftercare Advice

Your aftercare matters just as much as the treatment itself, so please take a moment to go through this before your appointment ends.

  • Try not to touch, rub or press on your lips for the first 24 hours.
  • Hold off on strenuous exercise, heavy lifting or anything that raises your body temperature for 24 hours.
  • Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and other sources of excessive heat for 24 hours.
  • Skip alcohol for 24 hours — it raises your chances of bruising and swelling.
  • Leave at least two weeks before booking a facial or massage treatment near the treated area, unless I’ve told you otherwise.
  • Some swelling, tenderness or bruising around the lips is a normal part of healing and usually eases within a few days.
  • Lip filler works differently to some other treatments — you’ll see your result straightaway, though initial swelling can make things look fuller than the finished outcome. This settles over one to two weeks.
  • Everyone’s aftercare can look slightly different, so always follow whatever specific guidance I give you at your appointment over any general advice.
  • Anything worrying you after treatment? Get in touch — I’d always rather you ask than sit with a concern.

More than anything, I want you to feel looked after – not just during your appointment, but for as long as you need support afterwards.
